Possibility of cancelation of H1 Visa when trying for H1 Transfer

Hi All,

I have got a company sponsored H1 Visa. I wanted to switch my company before travelling to US.

Is there a possibility that my Visa can be cancelled by my current company If I try to switch company...

I mean do they have the authority to do that? And how do they get the compensation if I switch job.

The company cannot unilaterally cancel the H1 stamped visa in your passport. What they can do is revoke the H1 but that shouldn't make any difference to you as you are already cap counted. You would need the H1 approval petition copy to give to the next employer in order for them to be able to initiate a transfer.

I didn't understand the question regarding the "compensation". Please rephrase.
