H1b extention after expiry

Hi All,
I get H1B in March and it got expired in Sept of this year.Some how I was not able to travel. Now I have change my Employer.
I want to use it. Is this possible to extend the visa after expire. If possible please let me know how I can proceed it...

The new employer can file a new I797 and new I129 for you using the approval notice of previous I797 of company A . Once new I797 is approved, if visa is expired you can fill the DS-160 and attend the H1 interview. If visa is not expired you can enter US with the new I797.
