Hello,
My OPT extension will expire this coming January 24. My university started to apply for my H1-B and targeting to have it Premium Processed. Our administrator told my supervisor that once my H1-B is filed and our department receive the notification receipt, I can work while waiting for the approval of the H1-B. Is this correct?
Also, just in case can I stay longer than the 60 days grace period once my H1-B petition (change of status) is filed.
