L2 to H1
Hi,
My initial entry into US was on an L2 & after which I got my EAD & started working for a company here which eventually sponsored my H1. I am planning to go on vacations for 2 months & as my status has changed I need to get my H1 stamped. My concern is, how do I put my situation across to the visa officer, do I need to provide my pay stubs & employment history? what are the types of questions i need to prepare myself for? any complications in the approval process.
also, would like your suggestion whether i stand a good chance if i choos to go to canada for stamping.
Would appreciate all your peoples inputs on this, please provide as much details as possible.
