Hello,

I had filed my extension on Dec 4th 2013 and received my acknowledge receipt on 18th Dec 2013.When i checked for the processing time it is mentioned as average of 2 months assuming no RFE.

My question is.

1. Is it the time from filing or acknowledgement receipt received date.

2. If i want to go back India , can i travel with my acknowledgement receipt.

1. From receipt date.
2. If your visa has expired, you would need a valid visa to re enter you cannot re enter based on your receipt alone.
