First Time H1 Applicant

Hi all!

I have an approved H1 petition and its validity commences from December 1st, 2005. I need to know what all documents i am required to furnish along with complete package of documents from my employer in US.

Also, i would like to know if it is ok to provide relieving letters/ experience letter from past (1) and current employer. I need to know if this suffice the purpose.

Any additional tips will be helpful and highly appreciated!

Hi,
You should equip your self with documents including the following originals
1. All proof of educational qualifications
2. Past and present employment
3. all possible details of the employer in the US, clients, projects where you are going to be working on, and letter from client if applicable.
4. And if you are married, all proof of marriage(if spouse accompanying for H4 stamping)

Its better to carry the whole bunch. You never know what to expect.
