Two USCIS Reciept Numbers???
Dear All,
Here is my Story...
I am currently on L1 working in NC. My current company applied for my H1 for Oct-2013 last year. After all the lottery and other processes, I received the approved i797 petition in Nov 2013. When i applied for H1 last year, I applied for my H1 for NY Location but current location is NC. So i had to post the LCA again for the new location which was done in Dec 2013.
Before i received the i797 last year, i got a receipt Number EAC YYYY X. Now my company again filed for H1 Amendment because of the new LCA location and now i received another EAC YYYY number.
Here are my questions.
Is it normal to receive 2 Receipt numbers for the same H1 Case?
My company has told me that it will take another 3-5 months for processing? - Is it normal?
Are there any more chances to have rejections at this stage?
some clarifications on the above questions is greatly appreciated.
