Different surnames in marriage certificate and Passport

Hi,

I've H1 visa, applying dependent visa for my wife. Her maiden surname was mentioned in the marrige certificate. We recently applied passport for her with my surname. Is that difference in names creates any problem? Can you pls suggest what can be done to rectify that?

same problem here..

Brother USC is applying I-130 for spouse who isn't in US. Changed the name after mareiage on paasport and other IDs. But marriage certificate is still in bride's maiden name... is it mandatory/adviseable/benficial to change the name on marriage certificate as well in this situation or not ?? If she doesn't change it would it be a problem .. ?
Hope someone comes up with much needed answer..
