Correction in H4 visa principal applicant

Hi all,

I have wrong principal applicant name in my spouse's stamped visa (h4). But she is admitted into USA , however she was questioned a lot during immigration. Please let me know if I can correct the information in visa while in USA , if so how to do it. I have given principal applicants name as my spouses name.

Why wasnt it caught and corrected immediately after stamping?

I dont think it is possible to get it corrected in US now. She would have to get it corrected outside US by attending another visa stamping.
