H1-B to green card new deadlines
Hello all,
Can anyone please clarify the new deadline on the green card processing (which was october 1st) and the fact that greencard through employment can now take 5-10 years.
My basic questions are:
What step of green card processing has suddenly being extended due to the limit on green card issued per year on a country basis?
What is your H1-B is expiring in a year or two, is labor certificate enough to keep you in legal status to work even if yoour H1-B visa has expired (6** years).
I would really appreciate it if someone could outline the new changes and how and who are affeceted by it?
