221 (g) Admin Processing

Bunny,

You kind of misunderstood me. The inital 221(g) issued to my wife does not read Admin Processing. It asks for detailed current project description (they checked the appropriate check box) and they hand wrote ' Explain why the address on pay stubs is different from that on bank statements.'

I explanied that and then when she went to the Interview, they gave her a 221(g) which looks different than the one I mentioned above and it says the
Visa is under Admin Processing. The VO took the Passport of my wife, DD, the explanations to the previous 2 queries we provided(Letter explaining the difference in the address and the letter from the client I work for currently)

Today my company got a call , they talked for only 3 seconds, they asked if I work there.

We are anticipating a call at the client's place soon.

It's been only a couple of days since the Interview. So I am keeping my fingures crossed.

How abt your case. Did they tell the same crap to you ' That you will get Visa
within 2 weeks'. Please let me know.

my case is my husband went to u.s april 2005,i got appointment 19th oct,first time they have given 221(g) and in that he wrote why ur husband didn't get pay from 5 th apr to 29th may( notarized letter from consultancy).my husband went to u.s through consultancy,so that time he waited for ssn number after he got ssn he got project at client place and started working there from 30th may that only i said but then also vo gived me 221(g) .
next day only my husband sent fax(explaning abt the pay of those days) and i went next day that time lady vo asked me original letter,original paystubs and w2 forms.
my husband's project was overed at that client palce and he joined another project in another client.and started working from 21st october.my husband sent original notarized letter from consultancy explaining abt back pay interms of allowances as food,medical etc.and no w2 forms because he didn't finish his oneyear there.
and my husband sent original paystubs of the old address. and also he sent original client letter.so i went again on 30th november and i have given all the documents file then vo took and said ur file is going back side u have to wait we will call u after some time.so i have waited from morning to evening.so they called me evening at 4'o clock.then another vo called me and asked me where is ur husband doing job i said the client name then he asked letter from client so i have given client letter,then he return my passport,dd and took all documents and he gave me 221(g) form and selected the checkbox stating that we will do further additional adminstrative processing,we will contact u after processing has been completed.
this was my case,already 2 weeks overed but they didn't contact me.i given all documents and everything is correct and jenune then what they are seeing i don't understand.i thnik in my case also they want to do client verification.
please tell me clearly when ur wife went to embassy,did they gave 221(g) form(selected checkbox that adminstrative processing).

H4 Revalidation 221g

Is there any one got queries for H4 revalidation..
My wife went to chennai Consulate on December 14th. (3rd extension)
and got 221g --for Clear copy of my PP and Original Payslips.
She has been in USA for past 5 years and got H4 twice and now extension
3rd time..(even my employer also not changed).

My wife went to Chennai consulate April'2005.Officer gave the query paper

First attempt:The consular officer has asked her why the salary is low for 2004 explanation(2004 year having W2 $21600 out if $43,000,)

A) I have send a letter saying that Last 3 years did not get a chance to take vacation. Since my brother is sick, due to hot climate, Then I have decided to spend my vacation with him and his family. I was unpaid vacation.

Second time : The consular asked his what is the wrong with his brother explanation and bring his brother pass port

A) my brother sent letter to consulate explanation, why is sick also Passport Xerox on June 9, 2005

Third time: He asked us that several queries I will go thru one by one
1. Interior and Exterior photos of the principal worker at the work (with employers permission).
2. A list of all of the projects, and their timelines……
3. Provide a detailed…current employer describing my next 12 months employment details.
4. Principals certified or notarized state and federal tax returns.
5. Explanation about why sat on bench for 4 months.
please give some suggestion. thanks

Hi Jayimmi,
What you need is good pay now atleast for the last 6 months. If your pay for 2005 has been good, then file tax and send your wife back to the consulate early Jan 06 with copy of all tax papers. Otherwise, you will really have to work hard for making the visa officer accept the reason you have already stated for the 4 month bench period. Try to get a good covering letter from your employer, and you too can write a requisition letter requesting the issuance of H4 mentioning the reasons for low pay with supporting documentation. Be sure to include all the papers pertaining to the client, project and location.

IT wouldnt really surprise me if the adminstrative processing takes over 1 year... Guyz this is not to disappoint anybody in here, but this is fact I heard many people saying this in this forum.

I do have all last 18 months pay stubs and good pay, 2005 w2 meets my LCA. and also my project going to extending next 12 months also.
please can you give me idea what i need to write in covering letter .

Is it still true if the VO has taken the DD and Passport. After being issued 221(g) Admin processing , when my wife told VO that it is her fourth visit to the Consulate the VO said that she will make sure that we will get the Visa in 2 weeks and took the DD.

Could you tell me if we got the Visa

Hi Veena,

I wrote to the consulate a couple of times requesting to atleast provide the time frame in which they are going to complete the Admin Processing. They gave the response" Please wait until we complete the Admin Processing and then we will get back to you"

I am not sure as to what to do. They still have my wife's Passport and Visa issuance DD though. My wife attended the Interview 4 times till now each time providing them documents to answer their inquiries and the last time they issued 221-g with Admin Processing. (before a month)

I called DOS to find out that the case is still with the Consulate office in India. Please Help !!

Did they take your wife's Visa or the Visa issuance DD.

vo didn't take my passport and dd.u wrote that u called to DOS.what is DOS,whats their number,pls give me.In which email address did u give mail to u.s consulate.Is any email address is there to contact u.s consulate.
