mother's surname problem in kid's dob certificate

eg.
my name is pankaj gupta
my wife;s name is seema agarwal
son's name is rahul gupta
on passports.

passport is having my wife's original name before marriage (seema agarwal) and in my son's passport mother name is seema agarwal.

now the problem is in my son's dob certificate mother name is written as seema gupta instead of actual name seema agarwal
and father name is written as pankaj gupta.
my parents got this dob certificate around year later. It is not possible to change mother's surname in dob certificate now.

is this a problem while going for visa stamping, h1 and h4, h4 and if yes then what is the solution or work around ?

Hi,
Not a problem, Fill in DS 156 correctly. Visa will be issued in the name as it appears on the passport.

My wife(h1) and son(h4) attending interview at chennai consulate. Do i need to fill D-157 for my son also . Please clarify.
