Currently I am on H4 visa. Through one of the consultants I have filed for my H1B visa. Education evaluation is in process .
Can I travel to India for 10 days ? It's very urgent. Currently I have my H4 visa which is valid

As long as you travel and return before the H1 application is filed for you it should be fine. Also, the H1 application would need to be filed on 01-April-2014, so paperwork, preferably, should be completed by March 15th 2014, so do the reverse calculation and talk to your future employer. I would say it would be safe if you can travel this week and return before March 10th to give ample time to your immigration attorney to file papers properly.
