Expired H1B US Visa can be Transferred.

I have a H1 B US Visa and got expired in 2009. I have stayed in US for 2.6 yrs.
Now is it possible for getting that H1 b transferred by my new Employer.
Experts Kindly guide me or anybody who has faced the same scenario and what was the outcome.

Yes it can be possible. Any employer can file a cap exempt petition with an immediate start date for you based on the fact that you already are cap counted.
