H1B Transfer without going to USA

HI All

Thanks in advance to anyone who could give me some answer to the following question.

Company Y was in discussion with me since October 2004 on a job offer in the US and the Visa stamping came thru finally in April-May 2005. The H1B has been stamped on my passport and I have the necessary documents like the petition and offer letter etc with me.
Later the negotiations with Y fell apart and I decided not to go to the USA for the time being.

My question is: Is it possible to trasnfer my existing H1B from Y to some other company without having stepped on the US soil and without any pay stub from Y?

You can't do H1 transfer.
