Need to go back before obtaining H1b visa
Hi everyone! I hope someone could help me..
I am currently on a J1 visa status, and my current employer extended their interest to sponsor me a work visa.
Heres my situation:
My J1 visa will end on August 2014 I don't want to go back in my country yet but i have to because I have a contract with my agency back home that I need to go back after my program or else i have to pay them $25,000 for breach of contract. Can someone advice me what to do?
Q1: should I file an H1b visa now while still in US Or wait until I go back in my country and filed it there?
Q2: what is H1b visa consular processing?
