Recruiters from Microsoft went to my university (UANL, it's a public university), after the interviewing process I was offered a position, which I accepted.
I'll graduate in July 2014, Microsoft has hired a lot of people from ITESM before (a private university in the same city), while I believe I'm the first person that has been offered a position at Microsoft from UANL. ITESM students get their bachelor's degree as soon as they graduate.
However, because my university is public, it means I have to go through a lot of bureaucracy and paperwork to get my degree. On average it takes about 4 months to get the bachelor's degree after you graduate. However, when I graduate and start the paperwork to get the degree, the university can give me a document that states that I'm in the process to get my degree.
Is it possible to get a H1B visa with such document?
Thank you for your help.
