Want to transfer L1-Blanket to H1

Hi All,
I have been working for my company back in my native for 1 year and 11.5 months before I came here to the US on a L1 Blanket Visa. This is my first visit to the US.

I would like to stay here and work and when enquired i was told that I need to transfer into an H1 visa. Could someone please provide me with some information on what are the processes & steps involved in transfering into H1 and what offices to be contacted for it. Thank you for your time.

Hi Arfu,
You will have to identify an employer who's looking for a skilled worker like you and get him to file for your H1B (subject to quota) next year. Then you can work for the petitioning company.
