Hi,
My I-797 is expiring on 03/11/2014 and I've a valid I-94 till 09/30/2014.
- I want to check if my petition doesn't get filled before 03/11/2014 or if I do not receive USCIS receipt number(if petition gets filled before 03/11/2014) before 03/11/2014, is there any risk for me to get out of status?
- Also, if I am eligible to stay since I've valid I-94, will I be eligible to work after 03/11/2014
- Another question that I have is if the petition gets filed after 03/11/2014 (I-797 expiry date), then will it be still considered as H1B extension or it will be considered a new H1B?
