how can we get emergency date for h1b?

Hi,

Can anyone tell me how can we get emergency date for h1b in India for US mumbai consulate? Almost 3 months waiting period is there for visa interview right now. What kind of documents i need to have to take the emergency date?

Just call up the local VFS and find out whether they have provisions for the emergency appointment.

tell them that your company requires you to be there early due to the project they are gonna work on. Better, get some support letter from your employer from USA.
