I have renewed my Indian Passport in New York last year and came to India for my H1B renewal(drop box), I have got 221g white paper with request to "Obtain a new Passport" due to lamination is peeling off, I think its slightly loose and no other major issues. Did anyone face similar situation and applied for tatkaal in any of the PSKs? I am from mumbai and applying in tatkaal tomorrow in "damaged" passport category as there are lamination issues. Any idea how much time does it take?
