H1B after 6 years

Hi Immihelpers,

I am currently on H1b with the 6 years expiring on May 2015.
I have a Masters degree from the US and was eligible to apply in the Masters quota the first time around when I applied.
I was planning to work outside the US for a year and come back.

Would I be eligible for the Masters quota if I were to reapply in 2016?

Also If I were to go to the home country before this October 1st 2014. Can I apply in the next year's quota since anyways I would be eligible to work from Oct 2015 (and I would have already completed my stay out of the country for a year?)

Yes, you can apply under advanced degree quota.

No, you have to be out of country for entire 1 year to apply a fresh H1 and you will be only eligible to apply only on Apr 2016.
