My Social Security Number on the I-129 petition filed by my company lawyer is completely wrong (It was the typo/mistake of the lawyer while filling the form). My H-1B Visa was approved last year. Wrong SSN came to my notice when I received I-129 petition from the lawyer past week. I'm going to Canada in 2 weeks for Visa stamping. Is there a way to correct my SSN on the petition by informing USCIS through one of the correction forms ?? Or if I go with this wrong SSN for stamping, will it create any problems (My pay-stubs and other documents indicate right SSN) ??
Please advise ASAP as my appointment date in Canada is near.
Thanks,
Ishaan
