L1B to H1B change of status through different company

Hi,

Currently having L1B from Company A. Got H1B approved from consultancy B.

1) How long I can work on L1B. Can I work even after October 1 for company A, till I get job on H1B through consultancy B.
2) Can I work for company C on the H1B approved for consultancy B. company C is ready to transfer H1B from consultancy B

Assuming the H1 was applied as Change of Status:

1. If L1 to H1 Change of Status is approved then you cannot and should not work with L1 employer post the Change of Status date . You must and should work and get paid only with H1 employer post the Change of Status date. If you want to continue working with L1 employer you would need to do a "leap frog".
2. Yes provided you can get the transfer done to C before H1 start date with B.
