Hi,
One month back my wife came to USA on H4 visa. We applied for H1 to her while she was in India and it got approved after landing in USA.
One week back we went to social security office for applying SSN. They told us that existing I-94 is showing the H4 status. She need a new I-94 with H1 status.
We are thinking of going to either Canada or Mexiso for H1 stamping, so that she can have new I-94 with H1 status.
Can you please let us know it is better to go Canada or Mexico? Please share your experience, if any body faced this kind of situation.
Where we can find the stamping process information in Canada or Mexico?
