Fresh H1 from F1 and previously L1B

Hi,

I am currently on F1 VISA and previously worked for my employer 4 years. Now my H1B got picked up and need to get the H1 stamping.

I have question like whether my previous stay of 4 years counts to my H1B 6 years limit.

Can any one answer the question please. I did not move out of US and do not have year outside during last 6 years (4 years L1B+2 years Masters & OPT).

Yes the previous L1 stay would be counted and you would be eligible for only 2 years.
