Hello all,
I need to go to India to visit my Father who is ill now. Some questions i have

1) Can i get an emergency appointment even though i am going to India for the frist time on H-1B and need a H-1B Visa. I have an approved petition that i got last yr and i converted from F-1 to H-1B.

2) Can i also go to newdelhi and book an appointment in the case i am not eligibile for emergency appointment in Chennai????

3) Any other options?

Hi,
You will qualify for an emergency appointment if you are a returning worker. You will get appointments in Chennai itself based on when you are visiting.

Can I get an emergency appointment for the family members (spouse and child) along with me if I am a returning H1 Applicant.
