Applying extension of h1b from India

Hi all,

I am currently in india and my h1b visa expires by Dec 2014. But I would not be able to travel to US before the expiry date. Please let me know if it is possible to apply extension for my H1B from India itself.

Yes. You will be able to file extension from India. The same way first time H1Bs are filed by employers (in USA) for employees (in India), the extension can also be filed
for employees in India.
