Are payslips mandatory for fresh h1b stamping ?

Hi All,

I am working in company A and have quit the company and on notice period.

Earlier a new US employer B filed H1B and it has been approved. I do have the Offer letter from B and

the necessary documents that may be required from B for stamping.

My question is, Will it be a problem if I do not have the payslips for last 4-5 months prior to the fresh H1B stamping?

Do the folks at the consulate insist on Payslips just before the stamping ?

I have never been to US earlier on any visa.

1. Did A apply for H1 before? If yes, did you have visa stamping?

If you have never been here, Your H1 status has not been started yet. It does not matter if you have payslip or not.

Thanks kadkhiq81 for your response. Company A never applied any visa, I do not have H1B stamping.
I only have B1 visa, but never been to US.

Since company B has given me Offer, I have to quit A. In my case, I quit A earlier, so do not have the payslips.
It should not matter, right ?

Could you kindly confirm again ?

Not at all if you have never been in the US earlier on H1 visa.
