Hi,
I was laid off on 17 Mar 2014. The final settlement pay stub I have from this employer is dated 31 Mar 2014.
My H1b stamping on passport is valid until 24 Oct 2014 & H1b gets maxed out Oct 2016.
So I continued to stay here in order to attend interviews & got a job on 16 May 2014.
Can the new employer file like a normal H1b transfer or should they voluntarily request for consular processing?
In other words, will a re-entry be mandatorily required in this case?
