Didn't Received H1B Receipt

Hi All

I have applied for my H1B petition (General) this year through my employer, but untill today I have neither received my H1B receipt nor rejection. I am just little worried about this as my colleage has received his receipt 3 weeks ago. Iis it possible to take such a long time just to receive my receipt or is there a way to find out if my application has been denied or selected?

I am currently on my STEM which is gud untill July 2015.

There is very high likelihood that you were not lucky enough to make it through the lottery. Talk to you College/employer about other options.
