H1B Stamping in another country.

Hi friends,

I have total 7 Years IT exp. Engg non-IT mech. worked in Germany for 2 years.Currently in Singapore for the last 9 months.
I would like to go for stamping in Singapore US embassy in Nov 2nd week. what are the chances that i am redirected to India for stamping.
I have paid Indian income tax for 5 years and Germany 2 years and i have the receipts.will this help anyway?.

I have not booked appointment in India and the latest one available in Chennai is 26-feb-2006.
If singapore redirects me,can i appear in Delhi under emergency quota?. How hard is it?.

Can any of you suggest?. If any of had been Singapore US embassy could you please guide me?.

It really depends upon US embassy in Singapore. Generally, if you are working there, you can go to US embassy there.

It may be possible to get earlier appointment if you are coming to India from overseas for visa stamping.

My employment pass is valid upto sep 2006.
