I 797

When taking an online appointment, do you have to submit a 797 Number as part of the form to be filled ??
I want to go to India early next year, but may switch jobs in the meanwhile, which means i will get a new 797. Will that be a problem ?

Hi,
If you are applying for the H1B or H4 category of visa, you will have to fill in the details of the H1B petition online for making the appointment. You may however fill in the details as on date today. The system gives you an option to make a change later, once you get the new petition approved.

Just confirming, so are you saying that the online system does give me an option to edit the 797 details. If yes, then that will be great !!
