I really need answer to this question. I was Non-Masters Premium Processing candidate for this year's H1 lottery.
My employer received email from USCIS saying that I was selected in lottery and EAC number was generated. Then the EAC number was not pulled on the USCIS gov for a long time after that. Past Premium end date, we tried to get in touch with USCIS and they asked us to check back after 2 weeks. Today, we received blue I797 notice saying that case was not selected. When we contacted USCIS Premium Processing center, they told us that the case was not selected and the email was generated as a mistake.
This is such a peculiar case that I really wanted to know if someone else has gone through this and what was the escalation done for that case.
