Hi,
Not a very common scenario I guess but here is the deal:
Company A has applied for my H1B under the 2015 quota and I have been lucky to get a receipt number. I am still waiting for the approval but meanwhile I have a Job offer from Company B (Non-profit). I understand that if Company B wants, they can file for my H1B under cap-exempt category but can they somehow make use of the current receipt number that I have?
The intent is to confirm that if I want to one day leave Company B (non-profit) for Company C (for profit) then I wouldn't have to rely on the H1B quota again.
