Hi,
I am going for my H-1B visa stamping for my current employer C (transferred from employer A, an consultancy) and have a question about filling out the work experience section on DS-160.
I got my offer from employer A back in mid-Oct 2012 when I was still under my OPT and within the 90-day unemployment rule. Yet, it was not until late Oct 2012 that I finally got assigned to a client project and started to get salaried, at which point I was 8 days over the 90-day unemployment period. My W2, paystubs, and experiences letter all had the hire date in late-Oct instead of mid-Oct.
While I got my H-1B approved with employer A and also successfully had it transferred to my current employer C, I am about to get my visa stamping now.
My question is, on my previous employment section with A, should I put mid-Oct or late-Oct as my start date?
Appreciate any suggestions you have!
