VISA PED date on VISA earlier than VISA exp date, can I use it after PED expires?

Hi everyone,
I have yet another question..

I'm currently working under H1b, and I just got my visa stamped in May.. The expiration date of my VISA is 5/28/2015.

But under the Annotation column, the PED date is 9/12/2014.. I was wondering if I can use this VISA to enter US after the PED expires but the VIAS is still valid (between 9/12/2014 and 5/28/2015)?

Did you get the answer to your question? I am in a similar situation and trying to understand what to do.
If I get my visa extended, can I enter with the same older visa stamp.
