Hi. My situation is critical. I am getting married in Dec. My H1B visa has been filed under the 20K quota, but I feel it will take time for the approval as there was an enquiry on my visa. Also, I am not getting a project as of now, which gives rise to the issue of pay stubs that are necessary for a multiple entry stamp.
1. Can I ask my employer to cancel my visa? If so, do I automatically fall back on my OPT? My OPT is valid till next Aug. Can I travel with my EAD card and an employers letter? Will this action have any effects while applying for an H1 again?
2. Instaed, can I travel with my EAD card and an employers letter while my H1 is in process? my travel period is 15 days.
