Hi Experts,
I had a valid H1 visa from 2008-2011, but I did not travel to US on this. Now my current employer filed an extension on this visa and it is valid from Feb 2014- Jan 2017. My current employer is not giving me the documents and not telling the file number.
Can I file a new H1 with another employer using my old (2008-2011) petition documents and will I come under cap exempt now.
Or do I need to file it before Sep 30th 2014 to come under cap exempt as 2008-2014 is 6 years. Please suggest ASAP.
