New appointment system with VFS-urgent

I am supposed to join for the Job on Nov 1 2005, belong to cehnnai consulate area. can any body suggest whether I can appply for emergency appointment on this ground

You can't get emergency appointment based on that.

seriously doubt it....To my knowledge emergency appts are meant for something related to health and risks. They consider its our problem to accept a job offer which is gonna start soon and its no risk even if we lose it or have it.

but this is ridiculous , to wait for visa interview for 5 months
once VFS took over, we presumed, the system will get cleaned up,now it is worse
but my employer is not going to wait for me till march 2006
