Passport validity query for H4 visa

Hi,

My wife's passport is valid till Feb'2016 & she is going for H4 interview on 28 Aug'2014.
Will there be any issue due to validity of just 1.5 years of passport for H4 stamping?

It is fine. Anyhow you cannot extend passport 1.5 Years before expiry. Worst case, sometime in future when she enters US, she will get I-94 only till Feb 2016, and you may have to go for passport renewal while in US.
