H4 Stamping is required with current visa ending on Sept 30?

Hi friends,

My wife and son has Visa upto Sept 30th 2014. My extension status is showing as approved. Now my wife and son are planning to come by Sept 15th 2014. They have to go for stamping again or my new petition will be sufficient for them? Will they get I 94 as per the petition?

They need go for stamping, though I would advise that they do so with your new petition details, as this will enable them to get an extended visa. If they dotn go for visa stamping then at the Port Of Entry some officers might give them an I-94 only till their current visa expiry, that is, till Sep 30. In that case you would have to apply for I-94 extension while in US.
