H1B Extension Last date to file petition

Dear Team,

I am currently in US and my current H1B petition which also has the I94 card on it is expiring on 7th Nov 2014. How many days before this expiry date should my employer file the H1B extension petition? i.e. what is the latest date by which the H1B extension filed papers should reach USCIS?

They can file as early as 6 Months before I-94 expiry or as late as the last day. Depends upon the situation.
