H1 Petition Approved 2010 - 2013 not traveled and stamed

HI Experts,

I had H1 Petition from 2010-2013 buy not stamped and traveled on that, I replied under cap-exempt and new petition and approved H1 Visa till Dec 2015.
As I have not traveled and stamped and use the older approved petition. will I be able to extend it when I will be in US and for how much I time I can extend.
Please advise me.

An H1 petition can be used to work in US for 6 Years.
