Hi,
I worked in US from Feb 2009 to Sept 2013 on an H1b. I then moved to India for an MBA and came back to US from Jan 2014 to Feb 2014 on a J1 ( visa did not have the 2 year exemption). My fiance is now in US and I will be moving to US on an H4 in Jan 2015. I will be applying for jobs once I am in US. I am wondering if I get a job in the US say around Apr-May of 2015 can I use the remaining time on my H1 since technically I wouldn't have stayed outside US for more than a year.
