Hello everybody!
I have a question concerning H1B visas and the possibility to "keep" unused years.
I am currently holding a H1B visa, and I am coming close to 3 years used on this visa. I am considering switching to an E2 visa with my current company.
I would like to understand first the impact of this switch on my current H1B visa & cap: will I lose permanently my H1B unused years? If not, if I was to change employer in 1 or 2 years, will my H1B visa be usable immediately (cap exempt) for the full 3 remaining years?
