H1B visa stamping with copy of I-797

Hello Sir/Mam,

I am currently in US on H1B visa.
I would be traveling to India for my visa stamping in Delhi consulate. My H1 extension is approved (premium processing) but I haven't yet got the hard copy of my I-797.

My question is:
Can I book my visa stamping appointment and get my H1 visa stamped with copy of I-797 that I received through email?

I feel you could go ahead with booking the appointment but for stamping you would need the hard copy of I797.
