EB2 Filing for Greencard not eiligible as my employer mentioned...
Hi,
I'm a Senior QA Analyst and have 13 years of IT experience, here's the breakdown:
4 years - System Engineer - Computer Hardware (Philippines)
5 years - Mainframe Programmer/Tester (Philippines)
4 years - Senior QA Analyst (1 yr in Philippines and 3 years in US)
I'm a graduate of BS in Computer Engineering ( 5 year-course at Mapua Institute of Technology in Manila, Philippines)
I have H1B visa right now and my employer is filing my green card next week.
My employer is based on Virginia.
Currently, my salary is $90k.annual. He said that I did not reached the prevailing wage for EB2 GC filing.
Is this true? Is salary really a requirement? I thought its only the education degree and years of work experience.
I went to flcdatacenter.com to check the prevailing wage in Virginia for QA Analyst title and here's what I got:
It means, I didnot even reach the Level 3.
So does that mean I'm not really qualified for EB2 filing? Please help and thank you in advance!
