Why LCA for Interstate Transfer

Hi I am a HI-B Visa Holder currently working in Arkansas. I am going to get transfered to Atlanata. I heared that my Employer has to file a LCA for moving to this new state. I am curious to know why i need the LCA to be filed though my Employer is same? Thanks in advance

Your employer need to file new LCA and new H1b amendment.

LCA to update department of labor that your work address is changed.

H1b amendment to update USCIS that your work address is changed.

Currently i am applied h1b extension, i git an RFE asking for h1b amendment which we did not do. We did LCA.

I need to check how my lawyer replies. I am little worried.
