Hi friends,
My H1 extension just got approved. A few days before the approval, I applied for H1->H4 COS with my old H1 (which was valid at the time I submitted the I-539 app but now expired). With the newly approved H1 extension, I feel that it's to my best interest to withdraw the H1->H4 COS application. Could anyone please provide me some insight or guidance on the withdrawal process? I understand that I need to send a letter to USCIS, but is it alright if I just list my intent to withdraw without providing any explanations? I'm worried that my reasons might not be sufficient (If anyone could suggest some good reasons to put on the letter, it would be wonderful.) Secondly, if I go out of the country and get my H1 visa stamped, does it nullify my H1->H4 COS app automatically? Lastly, will withdrawing my COS app or going out of the country to nullify my COS app have a negative impact in my future visa applications?
Thank you all in advance!
